Made in Poland, VARSOVIA | 24% Lead Crystal, Cobalt Blue Hand-Cut Spherical Vase with Geometric Starburst Pattern

European crystal craftsmanship from Poland. Poland has a deep tradition of glass and crystal making, known in particular for decorative glass, colored crystal, and cut crystal wares. This VARSOVIA vase retains its original brand label, marked as a 24% lead crystal product made in Poland and noted as hand-cut. One difference between lead crystal and ordinary glass lies in its higher refractive index and distinctive optical effect. Once cut, the crystal surface shows vivid contrasts of light and shadow, giving the piece rich visual depth under different angles of light. This work combines a deep cobalt blue tone with geometric cut decoration, presenting the ornate yet composed style of traditional European decorative crystal.
